My platform centers on ensuring a strong social safety net for our most vulnerable citizens.

Affordable Housing thru increased Housing Subsidies, Tax Credit Properties, and Inclusionary Zoning Laws

Government Reform by promoting “Ban The Box” legislation that will prohibit Landlords and Employers from denying opportunity to citizens with poor credit, eviction history, or arrest records.

Healthcare- we must lower the cost of pharmaceuticals, as well as promote alternatives such as Medical Cannabis, and providing Medicaid Expansion.

Prison Reform- Indeterminate Sentencing and a poorly funded UDOC has increased prison sentences of incarcerated citizens by roughly 18 months. By expanding Salt Lake County’s JRI initiatives, as well as prosecutor oversight and bail reform we can decrease the 4,000 Utahans sitting in Jail due to being to indigent to afford bail
