I grew up in poverty and I fight to create a path for others to move up the economic ladder. I served for 9 years in the military aboard submarines and now work under a program that helps to house homeless veterans. I serve on the Medford City Council and have a solid record of accomplishments in public service. I am running for Oregon State Senate in order to address our housing crisis, ensure everyone in Oregon has healthcare, and to fund education at levels that will create a new generation of skilled workers for our economy.
